On May 7, 2010 it was announced that Fox Cable Networks would take over programming responsibilities for Fox Sports Houston, whose programming would shift from that day’s edition of My20 (which was simulcast on KTXH and FS Southwest) to debuting later in the day on FS Southwest and sister network KTXA; My20 became an independent station two days later (the programming switch also occurred on KTXA’s schedule). Thechannel operated as an affiliate of both FX and Fox Deportes at launch.
