The Cuban national soccer team is the national team of Cuba and is controlled by the Asociación de Fútbol de Cuba. They are a member of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football and currently ranked 84th in the world by FIFA. The team’s best achievement was qualifying for the 1938 FIFA World Cup in France.

The Cuban national team has appeared in seven FIFA World Cups, but has only qualified for one – the 1938 tournament. They have, however, qualified for four CONCACAF Gold Cups. The team played its first ever international match on 28 December 1908 against neighbouring country Haiti, which they defeated 9–0; this marked theirEntry into FIFA in 1945.
