Football

Football typically ends in late November or early December. This gives players and fans a chance to enjoy the holidays before getting ready for the next season. However, some states have warmer climates and can extend the football season into December and even January.

High School

High school football generally runs from early September through mid-November. Some schools may play into December if they make the playoffs.

College

Football season generally runs from late August/early September through December or early January. The regular season typically consists of 10-12 games, followed by conference championships and bowl games. The season culminates with the College Football Playoff National Championship, which is typically played in early January.

Soccer
