MLB

At the trade deadline, NHL teams have a chance to improve their rosters for the playoff push by adding players from other teams. Teams can also unload players they don’t think will be part of their future plans.

NCAA championships are organized into three divisions: Division I, Division II and Division III.
Basketball tournaments are held in February for both men’s (March Madness) and women’s teams (the Women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament). Football bowl games are also played in December and January leading up to the final championship game, the College Football Playoff National Championship.
