As of 2019, 26 sports are on the official program. Some of these sports, like football 5-a-side and football 7-a-side, are played exclusively by athletes with intellectual disabilities; others, like Judo and Table Tennis, include both able-bodied and intellectually disabled athletes in competition. In addition to the 26 sports on the official program, a number of demonstration sports have been included at various editions of the Games.
