Koenigsegg Agera RS
The Koenigsegg Agera RS is a Swedish mid-engined sports car produced by Koenigsegg. The RS stands for “Record Sport”, referring to its world record-breaking top speed of 447.19 km/h (278.00 mph).
The Agera RS was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It is a track-focused version of the Agera with a stripped out interior and lighter weight. Koenigsegg also developed new aerodynamic features and made numerous changes to improve handling and stability at high speeds.
Power comes from a 5.0 liter V8 engine with twin turbos, which produces 1,160 hp (865 kW) on regular unleaded fuel and 1,341 hp (1,000 kW) on E85 bioethanol. The engine is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission.
The Agera RS has a kerb weight of 1,395 kg (3,075 lb) and is capable of accelerating from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 2.8 seconds and 0–400 km/h (0–249 mph) in 20 seconds.
Hennessey Venom GT
The Hennessey Venom GT is a high performance sports car manufactured by Texas-based Hennessey Performance Engineering. The Venom GT is based on the Lotus Exige sports car and uses a modified version of its chassis and bodyshell. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 7.0 litre V8 engine that produces 1,244 bhp (928 kW) of power and 1,155 lb⋅ft (1,561 N⋅m) of torque.
The Venom GT has a top speed of 270.49 mph (435.31 km/h), making it the fastest production car in the world as of 2020. It has also set multiple world records for acceleration, including 0 to 200 mph in 14.51 seconds, 0 to 300 km/h in 13.63 seconds, and 0 to 400 km/h in 17.68 seconds.
